50 shades of GREEN

No! Not that book, nor even worse, the movie. I am not talking about the shady desires of Mr.
GREEN by any imagination. I am talking about the shades of my favorite color for the first date.
First date, by the way, does not have to be literally the first date.

Like First Lady, first date is the special date and can be the first date as the very first date is very special anyway. Unlike many who advocate red for first date, I have never seen a decent, classy girl wear red in the first date.Red can be striking but is notoriously risky for spouting dangerous impression to the beholder. So leave the red to the pony-tail-high-heel blondes.

Green stands out to be the best above all other colors in the first date. What are the shades –
are all greens GREEN? Certainly not. But these are the fashionable greens that you should try
and see what suits you. Remember that fashion is an expression and you need to apply the
color to the right look, dress, mode, occasion and outset.
See the color chart and keep it for your reference. Avoid other green shades as these are tested
to be the best among color scientists and fashion designers. For a conservative expression,
choose olive, pickle or basil. They also tend to go all the season. But that is exactly my problem
– if the color goes all season, then it is neither a glamor nor an expression for a specific season
or mode. This is why I tend to choose parakeet and shamrock.

Parakeet and shamrock gives a bright yet not overly loud view. Sunny day or rainy, sun rise or
sunset, these two colors survive well and above the expectation. Ancient Chinese Ming Kings
used to send pretty female messengers wrapped in shamrock shade to the other emperors or
kings for delivering their messages. The shamrock messengers would brighten the mode of the
receivers. And Ming dynasty was no jerk. They ruled for over twelve hundred years. So they
knew it then. We have not learned from history, it seems and try to reinvent the wheel.
Shamrock green is proven to give a soothing, calming and brightening effect on the beholder.
The Ming kings used the shade to win a kingdom. Well, you can use the color to win your
prince.
